Born into a rodeo family, Robert began working for his father's
rodeo company the W Bar W; running steers, calves, and the
stripping chute at the tender age of seven.  He rode his first
bronc at age twelve and began competing in the
Arkansas
Rodeo Cowboy Association traveling all over Arkansas and
Missouri.  He competed in several events such as steer riding,
bareback riding, bull riding, and calf roping.  While competing,
he also was helping behind the chutes, and learning the ropes.
One night the pickup man was injured during the rodeo, Robert
had to take over, that was the first time Robert had ever picked
up and he did an excellent job.

Robert has always been the prankster in the family, the
funny one. Much like how he got his start as a pickup
man, is how he stumbled into announcing.  The
announcer got sick and canceled at the last minute,
someone had to fill in.  Robert stepped up to the
challenge and Rocked the house.  He had never felt
anything like that before, that's when he decided it was
more satisfying to work the crowd the entire show
instead of eight seconds.

Robert is a perfectionist.  If it is going to be done, it will be
done right.  He combines a little of the old with a little of the
new and always produces a Rocking show that everyone will
enjoy!!  He has been working the rodeo circuit for sixteen
years, along the way achieving many accomplishments.  He
has performed at thousands of shows and still today every
rodeo is just as thrilling and exciting as the first. His strong
voice and detailed knowledge of all areas of rodeo can make
the most un knowledgeable spectator feel right at home.  His
sense of humor and friendly voice has been enjoyed by
many, and with his desire and love for the sport he will strive
to be the best.
